Eva Jarlsdotter began her career as a journalist. After almost a decade in journalism, she left to work internationally in leadership roles in business. She has held positions in communications, corporate social responsibility, and branding in the telecom and pharmaceutical industries. In summer 2011, she resigned from her position as VP Internal Communications TeliaSonera in order to complete a fiction trilogy she had been working on since her oldest daughter was born. She currently works as a writer, consultant, and lecturer. Eva holds a degree in journalism from the University of Gothenburg and an executive MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics

It all began as a pure survival instinct. To overcome the challenges of an everyday life permeated by stress, Eva Jarlsdotter and her family began using lean in their home. At first it was unintentional. But when they saw the pattern emerge like interwoven threads forming figures in a tapestry, they decided to work with lean tools and philosophy systematically. Even if Eva Jarlsdotter and her husband had experience with lean from healthcare and business they were genuinely surprised when they saw the amazing, astronomical results after less than a year. In her lightning talk Eva will share with us how we can get inspired from lean in our home and everyday life and what we can expect.
